Experiencing Luxury: A Day at Neiman Marcus with Their Complimentary Facial Service

When I saw a video about Neiman Marcus offering free facials, I'll be honest- I was skeptical. Usually, when brands offers free facials, it consists of a sheet mask and last about 15 minutes. Initially, that is what I expected, until I came across a few videos stating otherwise. Most were detailing a great thorough experience, the use of high end products, and lasting 45 minutes. Being that I love a great experience, I wanted to try this out for myself. I was only about 25 minutes away from the Neiman Marcus location in Roosevelt Field (NY), and was luckily able to make an appointment. Due to the service going viral, it was very difficult to find availability, so I was excited to have a confirmed appointment. Once the date was set, I decided to make this a self care day and wanted my outfit to reflect the lavish day I was going to have.
There were many people discussing their wonderful experiences at Neiman Marcus, and I can confidently agree that they were telling the truth! As soon as I walked in, I immediately was greeted by amazing staff, the store was merchandised beautifully, and of course it smelled amazing. I was a few minutes early for my appointment and decided to browse around the fragrance department, no surprise there! Shortly after I was greeted by the esthetician that she was ready for my appointment.
As soon as we started the facial, I knew that this was going to be a luxurious session. She analyzed my skin and explained the specific products she would be using from the La Mer line. If you aren't familiar with this brand, they are known for the rare and exclusive ingredients used in their products. There is a specific fermentation process used to extract the algae used, and due to the time and technique, the pricing for the products reflects that as this is on the luxury side. Prior to my appointment, I have not used La Mer and was excited that Neiman Marcus offered this to be a great introduction. We started with a deep clean, steam, mask, serums, and even a nice massage for the face, head, and hands. I completely understand why La Mer is on the luxury side of pricing, the products are top tier and exquisite. The body cream left my hands feeling soft all day. I would definitely recommend if you are looking to advance your skin needs, you can absolutely feel the quality almost instantly!
In addition to the great facials, you also will meet wonderful shopping advisors that are fun, patient, and knowledgeable. They will give you the best recommendations specific to your style or scent profile. Right after the facial experience, I met a wonderful woman named Stephanie, who is the Neiman Marcus concierge at the Roosevelt field location in NY. Initially, she didn't discuss any products, but was actually helping with the photos and videos for the content I was filming. I loved her energy, and had a great time learning about the new fragrances that was released. I know that once you book your appointment, you will also have the same experience! I highly recommend arriving early or staying after the appointment, to find the perfect quality items to treat yourself to. You deserve that!
Make every moment, a special one. I decided to wear this crop fur, and make a look out of it because it made me feel luxurious. I walked in the location already feeling great, completed my facial, met amazing people, and smelled great fragrances. Afterwards, I had a light lunch and ended my day at a local cafe. Take the opportunity to surprise yourself, as often as you can. The day at Neiman Marcus was perfect, and taking the time to learn about the products made me feel comfortable when making my next purchase. Plan in advance, be open to learning about new scents, or skincare brands, and simply enjoy. You deserve luxury NOW, give yourself the quality life you always wanted.
