Discovering Serenity: A Solo Day at Ev&Em Vineyard in Long Island

Napa is amazing, but have you experienced Long Island Wine Country? There are beautiful options along the Hampton area, and Ev&Em is definitely a premier option. Visiting the location was something I wanted to do since last summer, but as you know the time goes by very quickly and I was unable to plan a tasting then. I continued to see videos that definitely piqued my curiosity of the space. Upon additional research, I learned that the origin of the vineyard's name, is after the owners children, Everett and Emilia, which created Ev&EM Vineyards. The intentionality behind the name is very heartwarming. Being that I love exquisite quality experiences, I knew that this was a vineyard that I had to visit.

Creating experiences with others is just as meaningful as creating experiences with yourself. I happened to be in the area and noticed that the vineyard was 30 minutes away. I had some time and decided to stop by. The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, and I was excited to finally experience Ev&EM Vineyards. I could have waited to visit with friends, but since I was so close I wanted to be intentional with my time. I also knew that I could be a point of reference for the next visit. I have come to enjoy meaningful time alone, and have never visited a vineyard solo, so why not make this my first time? Sometimes with experiences, it's all about timing even if you are alone.

Upon arrival, I noticed the wide open space and home texture. I walked in awe, the pictures do not do the space justice at all! The decor is absolutely phenomenal, and has the luxury factor. The staff was amazing as I was greeted with smiles and patience. Considering that it was my first time, I wanted to tour the space, including their tasting rooms. The team was gracious enough to show me the entire space, and within each corner, I was falling in love with the space even more.

Now for the wine! I tasted a few including their Rosè and also tried their Stainless Steel Chardonnay. I was shocked that I loved it! I am not a huge fan of Chardonnay, but learned that it may be due to the process of how Chardonnay is created and stored. At Ev&EM they utilize steel to source and store the wine vs a wooden barrel. It absolutely makes a difference, because it tasted amazing, and is something I would get again. Between the beautiful space, great service and of course amazing tasting wine- this Vineyard is a must visit!

Seating Indoors

Being in a space where you enjoy your own company is something I feel everyone should explore. It gives you the opportunity to know what you are interested in, meet new people, and surprise your senses. This solo experience was beautiful at Ev&Em, I recommend this as an experience with yourself, or with family and friends. You will immediately feel captivated by the space and will have a wonderful time with 5 star service. You deserve luxurious experiences. Surprise yourself with trying something different, experiencing new spaces, and relaxing with a refreshing glass of Stainless Steel Chardonnay at Ev&EM.
